Consumers’ minds in the face of illicit substance use patterns

Abstract

The following essay will involve the topic of drugs and the way they affect the central nervous system. The road to drug addiction is made up of a series of actions. It begins with the voluntary act of using drugs that over time weakens a person’s ability to decide not to use these illicit substances. There is the misconception that trying a drug or consuming it infrequently is not harmful to our body. This wrong thinking leads many teens to try harmful substances in order to experience new sensations. The aim of this essay is to mention the prevention measures necessary to avoid drug addiction. As well as, publicize the main problems that lead the individual to enter the world of drugs and the consequences that their consumption encompasses. The risks and harms associated with consumption vary for each substance. Drugs are not the proper way out of problems and taking a wrong path can even cost us our lives.
