Presentation of the Scientific Journal of Education and Social Sciences (RECIECS) (Spanish Autonomous University of Durango)
Abstract
The University of Spain (UNES) in the constant line of improvement, has established itself as an institution that began in 1994 on a secure foundation; evolving according to changes, requirements and educational trends in Mexico and the world. Thus, it is committed to the dissemination of knowledge and educational innovation in a permanent, open and progressive way.
In this sense, the Scientific Journal of Education and Social Sciences (RECIECS) was born in the last four months of 2020, pretending to be an organ of scientific dissemination of the Postgraduate Coordination of UNES, Mexico; whose objective is to publish relevant studies in the area of Education and Social Sciences. At the same time, this publication is aligned with the challenge of implementing the scenario methods to carry out all the activities of the Knowledge Management System. Also, aware that the progress of knowledge through research; It is an essential function of all Higher Education systems that have the duty to enrich undergraduate and graduate studies.
The foregoing is made clear at UNES as it is a university with Accreditation by the Federation of Private Mexican Institutions of Higher Education (FIMPES ), an institution that guarantees quality in the fulfillment of its Mission: "To train quality professionals, capable of living better with others and with themselves" and in the same way regarding the Vision: "Graduates must be recognized by the whole of core values, knowledge and skills that are reflected in their personal life, in their professional life and in their contributions to their local, state, national and global community as universal Mexicans.
”From a socioeconomic perception, the generation of knowledge is an important part for development, research being one of the substantive functions, therefore, it is a process that must be rooted and promoted In universities, advance from the appropriation of information to turn it into knowledge, resulting in that knowledge is generated and disseminated to the entire national and international scientific community.
To achieve the aforementioned requirements, RECIECS is born, it is a refereed scientific journal, which uses the external evaluation system by experts (peer-review), under the methodology of blind pairs (double-blind review), in accordance with the publication standards of the American Psychological Association (APA). Compliance with this system allows the authors to guarantee an objective, impartial and transparent review process; conducted by leading professional evaluators of international academic category.
RECIECS will publish scientific articles, also called original articles; review articles and essays. It is essential to recognize each and every one of the managers, directors and authors, for their dedication and effort in sharing their research experiences, thanks to all the contributions, in addition to making possible the birth of the first issue of the journal, a step is taken decisive to enrich the knowledge of the academic community of UNES, giving it impact and international presence.
UNES remains firm in the fulfillment of the substantive function of Research and in its dissemination, the Public Engagement of UNES is evidence of commitment with the environment and with the Sustainable Development Goals proposed by the United Nations. The quality of education and scientific culture are required as axes of our processes and achievement of goals.
